Trust The People is a grassroots community building movement, sharing democratic tools to help people support their communities in the face of global crises.

They have put together a free, online education course that takes you through every aspect of community building – from connecting with people one to one, to running People’s Assemblies, which harness the wisdom and power of the community. The course spans across eight weeks, covering five in-depth modules.

w/c 08/Mar Module 2: Group Support
w/c 15/Mar Module 3: Engaging Communities
w/c 22/Mar Module 4: Community Assemblies
w/c 29/Mar Module 5: Community Organising
w/c 05/Apr Project Week
w/c 12/Apr Graduation

Each week, the main Module session will be held on Monday 18.00-20.00 GMT, and repeated on Thursday 10.00-12.00 GMT.

At the end of the course you will graduate as a Community Transformer!

It doesn’t end there. You can become part of ‘Hive’, which is a small support group composed of others from the course, who are interested in helping each other put the skills and ideas you have learnt into practice. You can also receive mentoring, and even become part of the TTP training team to pass on your skills and motivation.
